What is Equinity
Equinity is both our name and the state of being we work to create — where horses, humans, and unity come together in a way that feels natural, grounded, and genuinely shared. Our herd, our volunteers, and our programs each play a part in this. Together they shape a space where connection grows in real time — a connection that benefits the horses just as much as the people who show up for them.
This is the work we do, and the feeling we aim for in every moment: Equinity.
The unity we call Equinity is built from two equal partners: the human and the horse. The herd brings awareness, honest response, and the ability to reflect what’s happening beneath the surface. That clarity is what makes their half of the connection so essential — it gives people a real, grounded experience of relationship and trust.
Our volunteers bring steadiness, heart, and support to every interaction. Their presence helps create a warm, grounded environment where meaningful connection with the herd can unfold. They are an essential part of the unity and experience we call Equinity — and there’s a clear pathway for anyone who feels called to step into this work
